Ring Update
The ring has been found! Bill went into work this morning and found his ring. We were texting, so it was the shortened version of the story, but it seems someone found it and left it for him. Yay!!
Billy, Disregard Kellys last comment, I'm glad you found it. Funny you mentioned golf but left out the score. Hang in there buddy the Lord will be answering all of our prayers. Love to the family Michael
Billy, disregard Michael's last comment about golf scores. He forgets how to count when it comes to golf. He is the only person who can swing 10 times and have a score of 7. It is a mathmatical challenge to play golf with him! I have Brian and Jimmy as numerical witnesses.
Bill 'lost' his ring, then Jackie spoiled Bill's plan, and I quote, "I keep telling Bill, that we ARE still married, whether he wears the ring or not. He thought he was off the hook..."
Then a day later, Bill 'finds' his ring?
Nice try buddy, if it would have worked, I would have definitely tucked that plan away for possible future use!
The finding of the ring is no less than the sweet truth that God is faithful in all things. As for Mike's ability to kept score, remember this, Mike plays till he wins. So, Billy play till you win! Our prayer are with you and your family. Jesus heals! Sincerely, Jim, Kelley and Kids
It's almost 11:00 and I just finished 17 hours in Ladera heights, but reading this blog is the highlight of my day no matter what time it is. Thank you again Jackie and Bill for posting. Dad
I have to agree, every time I sign on to my computer, The Bartak Blog is my first stop.
Did you know your son and daughter in law were so popular?
Joe, I know we have exchanged a few emails about what a great son you have. I want to share one of those emails.
Bill and Jackie, I think you should see how Joe and I speak about you two behind your back...
From May 14th, 2008...
"Joe,
I have to tell you, I have always been protective of my sister. I never thought anyone would be good enough for her. But your son Bill is a great guy! I am happy they found each other. I don't know how I lucked into such a great brother-in-law...I guess my sis has pretty good taste after all!
By the way, thanks for all the great pics of Tyler. I love seeing every email from you, I always know there are more pics of my little nephew.
Thanks,
Todd"
Bill and Jackie, sorry for talking behind your back for so long, but it's an honor and a privilege to have joined the Bartak's and the Cords' families.
Hey Tyler, We have not met but I am one of your great grandmas. I live with my old man, Clod (one of your great grandpas), on the very top of Mt Everest here in the high, high, high mountains of Colorado. Its pretty high up here.
On a clear day here, we can even see the polar bears on the North Pole!! Unreal!
So anyways, I've been checking out your new blog and I gotta say, it is pretty sick!
Sick, you know like in cool! :-)
Anyways, can you tell your peeps that after hearing about this whole ring thing, that Clod and I just figured Bill thought the situation provided the perfect cover so he could hawk his wedding ring (and not get in trouble!) and buy some cool "guy" stuff for you and him!
You know like some cool toys and stuff!
Course Clod thought that was a brilliant idea!!
Anyways, I hear you guys are going thru some tough times right now. Tyler you may need to keep a close eye on your mom and dad during these tough times right now. They are going to need you. Everyone is going to need to support each other real big right now! OK?
BTW, Clod and I will keep you in our prayers! (If I can ever get him out of that damn lounge chair and steal that clicker from him!)(I swear I am going to take a baseball bat to that stinkin’ box one of these days!)
:-)
Keep your chin up! God is on our side!!
Also Ty, can I call you Ty? I know everyone else calls you Tyler but I like Ty. OK?
Can you also tell them that the best medication that God ever gave mankind was humor. Powerful stuff!!

Oh, I see how that went down...

I'm glad to hear that Bill washed his hands after he went to the bathroom at soup plantation.
