One More Thing

The second thing I packed was SANGRIA!! Got to keep the priorities straight. I know Ann mentioned stocking up, but one can never be too prepared!

Hello there...have a great time in Carlsbad. The weather has been great, not too warm and not too cool. Carlsbad is a really cool, little, beach town. If you want Mexican food, I recommend Fidels and for Italian, I think you would like Fresco-Trattoria. My prayers and love are with you. XOXO

Enjoy the Beach! Know that I will be thinking of you all every waking moment. At least I have the "blog", cell phone, and computer to stay in touch. The train ride to Chicago should go by pretty fast, if I don't throw my back out carrying the back packs with the camera equipment etc. Please take some pictures while you are there, I may do the same....Ha, probably brought a smile to your faces huh?
Went to SJV Bible study this morning to thank them for all of us for their prayers and thoughts, what a turn out and out pouring of love and hope. Jackie, everyone commented what a great job you did on the blog and supporting Bill. It does not go unnoticed.
I doubt if there is internet service on the train so I'll have to wait till to South Bend to update. Have a great weekend and love to all.

Hello Bartaks! Have a wonderful and relaxing time in Carlsbad. I believe the Flower Fields are still blooming and should be amazing right now! And Jackie--don't forget to hit the Carlsbad Company Stores Outlet Center just off Palomar Airport Road for some retail therapy... :) Love you guys!!

Hi Jackie and Bill,
Just checking in to say hello and remind you we're praying for you daily on this end as well. Jackie, my hats off to you for updating the blog as frequently as you do. Bill is lucky to have you and vice versa. You are both a wonderful (and darling) couple not to mention adorable little Tyler. Have fun at the beach and all the BEST OF LUCK with the City of Hope. Bill, you show'em how to do it and beat this thing with flying colors. We're all behind you. Love you. Susan, Kevin, Spencer, and Sabrina
