Finally

Finally, we have an appointment! The hugely disappointing part is that it is not until September 15th. Two weeks away! It has already seemed like an eternity that we have waited, and now the agony continues. Bill really wants to just start treatment! I have to agree... the time in between everything is excruciating. I know if He leads you to it, He'll lead you through it, but some days are hard to stay positive - today was one of those days. Sorry to be "Debbie Downer" (a classic SNL reference), but it's been a rough one. Please keep praying!

Jackie and Bill,

I keep the chorus of this song tucked away in my heart:

"He is brighter then my darkest night, stronger then my toughest fight, just one touch form You my King and Friend and I will never be the same again"

WHAT A BLESSING TO HAVE THIS DATE SET. IT IS ALWAYS HARDEST IN THE DARKEST DAYS, BUT, THE SUN IS SHINNING VERY SOON.

We will definitely keep praying. I wish we had a connection or some sort of magic wand to get you in sooner. The good news is Bill can work and focus on rest!!

Love you all,
Aunt Mary

I can't pretend to understand how difficult the wait for the next few weeks will be for you, but know that I think of you every day. Bill, I hope you can take this time off work to rest, eat, gather strength and be with Tyler. You have a good network of friends keeping you in their thoughts and prayers. Peace to you both.

Bill,

I have been keeping up with everything with your mom and dad, but felt the want to leave a comment. As an educator, like your wife, I am a strong believer that we are raised by out community, and not just by our parents. Your community, which consists of your extended family and friends, not only raise you, but are there for support. From what I know about your family, you are all extremely strong. Your family is so important to me, and have helped raise me, which makes you important to me and my family as well. You WILL get through this, with the support you have, all of our thoughts and prayers will be answered.

Also, as a coach for 11 years, if you need a pick me up, I have a lot of good motivational quotes in my bag.
